I live and work in Sonoma County in California. Professionally, I am striving to make information and ideas meaningful, accessible, and beautiful. 

Art was my first passion. I am self-taught. I learned through practice and experimentation. I’ve always loved comics. After developing a preference for graphite and ink, I wandered my way into painting. 

Though I chose not to go to art school or become a professional artist, my passion for art and design continue to influence how I interact with the world. Some of my biggest influences are Bill Watterson, Mary Cassatt, Craig Thompson, Glen Keane, and Alphonse Mucha; my travels are also a principle source of inspiration.
